April Book Wishlist

Helloo Everyone,

Sorry I only done 1 blog post last week, I've been so busy with things I lost track. I'm back now so I'll get to the point of this post, books! What a surprise right? Anyway, there's always books out there that I'm just waiting to buy and it could be anything from 3 to 15 books a month haha! But sadly with me being a student and not having a permanent job it's not easy to just buy things, especially books, whenever I want.. but I can dream! So here are the books that have made it onto this months wishlist!

All My Friends are Superheroes by Andrew Kaufman

One of the fabulous Youtubers I follow ItsWayPastMyBedTime aka Carrie Fletcher said at the beginning of this year that this was one of her favourite books but I never just buy a book because someone else likes it, I have to genuinely be interested in it. So once I looked into it more I found it incredibly funny, some of their superpowers are really quirky haha!

Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

I decided a while ago that I wanted to start reading classics and this is my first stop, plus with the reviews being so good there was no reason not to!

The Fade Out Volume 1 by Sean Phillips

If I'm completely honest with you I can't seem to remember who I came across this but I think I must have been looking at graphic novels and this caught my eye! It's a crime mystery novel set in Hollywood during the early 20th century, what's not to like?

Matilda by Roald Dahl

When I was kid I remember loving this movie so much; my nan had it on video so me and my sister would watch it nearly every time we went over *awh childhood memories* I'd really like to know what the book is like!

Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

I've seen this book a couple of times but for some reason I never took an interest to it. It was recommended to me by a friend as I like apocalyptic books and there was me like "say what? is that what it is?" and yes is the answer to that! It centers around a theatre group that attempting to survive after the war has ended, I'm very intrigued..

How To Be a Woman by Caitlin Moran

I actually had a sample of this on my Kindle as I wasn't sure if I'd like it enough to buy it but I was proven wrong as it attracts the feminist side of me! Caitlin Moran is also quite funny writer so now I've read the sample I'm dying to finish the book where I left off!

The only reason I'm glad I'm done is because I'm worried if I start looking more my bank account won't be very happy with me haha! So is there any books you're tempted to read?
